This task is optional. It is mandatory if there is existing material concerning the Business Context Model. If there is no input material available, the task is not performed. Relevant input for the Business Context Model from the client or previous engagements must be validated on its usability. If the Existing Business Context Model proves to be adequate for the assignment it is renamed as As-Is Business Context Model. If the Existing Business Context Model needs some adjusting it is used as a base for the next tasks.
